Refund Policy for AATA's Online Learning Academy

Thank you for choosing the American Art Therapy Association (AATA) Online Learning Academy for your continuing education needs. Please review the following policy before purchasing any online learning sessions.

General Policy

All purchases of online learning sessions through AATA’s Online Learning Academy are final and non-refundable.


Flexible Use of Sessions and CE Credits

  • All sessions are pre-recorded and can be completed at your convenience.

  • Sessions and unclaimed CE certificates do not expire within your Online Learning Academy (OLA) account and will remain available for as long as the content remains relevant.

  • CE certificates can be used toward future professional recertification whenever needed.

Reason for No Refunds

  • CE credits are intended for professional licensure or certification renewal and are issued only upon completion of the session.

  • Once issued, CE certificates cannot be revoked or transferred.

  • Access to all course content is granted immediately upon purchase, making sessions non-returnable.

Exceptions

Refunds will only be considered in rare cases and are granted at AATA’s sole discretion. These may include:

  • Documented technical issues that prevent access to the session, despite all reasonable troubleshooting steps with AATA support.

To be eligible for consideration, users must first contact continuinged@arttherapy.org and work with our support team to resolve the issue. Refund requests without prior support documentation will not be accepted.
