Description
This course examines examine the use of technology in art therapy supervision, including current protocols, recommendations, clinical mandates and advice on keeping up with the changing technological landscape.
Learning Objectives
- Identify the 4 major considerations that pertain to ethical and legal use of technology in art therapy supervision.
- Identify the current ATCB requirements and accepted criteria pertaining to technology-facilitated art therapy supervision, as well as the 2 mentions of technology in supervision within AATA's Ethical Principles for Art Therapists.
- Identify at least 5 recommendations for art therapists choosing to conduct clinical business using their cellular phones, tablets, or similar electronic devices.
Dr. Rachel Brandoff
Professor, Jefferson University
Rachel Brandoff, PhD, ATR-BC, ATCS, LCAT, is a professor and coordinator of the Art Therapy Specialization in Trauma Counseling at Jefferson University in Philadelphia. She works on the Annual Philadelphia Trauma Training Conference, held at Jefferson University. Rachel has maintained a private practice for 12 years and provides supervision to practicing art therapists.
